Itinerary

Day 1Delhi to Manali ( Volvo Bus )

All the participants have to reach Delhi by 04:00 Pm. You will be travelling to Majnu Ka tilla, nearest Metro Station is “Vidhan Sabha” where you have to hire an Auto or Rickshaw towards Majnu ka Tilla. Majnu Ka Tilla known for Tibetan market and amazing restaurants offers great cuisine, one can explore the market and there is a small monastery also. Our Volvo bus will be waiting for you. Overnight towards Manali. Overnight Traveling in Volvo bus.

Day 1Reached in Manali

  • Early morning you will reached at Manali, from there you need to reach at hotel.

  • For Hotel details you can contact concern sales person and proceed with the check-in. After check-in into the hotel you can take some rest and visit nearby places at Manali like Mall road, Hidimba devi temple.

  • In evening you will have a briefing session at 7:00pm there you’ll meet our representative and brief you about the Ladakh Trip.

  • Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 3Manali to Sarchu via Atal Tunnel

  • Early morning after breakfast we will ride towards Serchu.

  • Travel distance and time (180km/7-8hrs).

  • The Atal tunnel which is 9km long and it is the longest highway tunnel above 10,000 feet (3,048 m) in the world.

  • On the way we will visit the beautiful valley of Lahaul and you need to cross Sisu, Keylong, Jispa and Darcha.

  •  Baralacha pass (15,910 ft) and you get to cross the snow covered Baralacha.

  • Serchu  (Border) between Himachal and Ladakh).

  • Overnight stay at swiss camp in Serchu.

Day 4Sarchu to Leh via Tanglang La

  • Travel distance and travel time (240 kms/ 07 – 08 hrs) approx.
  • Crossing 22 Gata loops, Nakila pass, Lachungla pass, and More planes (Kiang Chu Thang) 45kms straight road.
  • You need to cross Tanglang la pass (5328m/17480ft). It is the highest pass on Manali-Leh highway.
  • Overnight stay at Leh
  • Leh Altitude- 3500 meters.

Day 5 Leh Local Sightseeing towards Sham Valley

  • Today’s sightseeing will be around 90kms.
  • After a relaxing breakfast, we will visit Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of fame (A museum in memory of the brave Indian soldiers).
  • Sangam Point which is the confluence of Indus and Zanskar river.
  • Evening visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 6Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass

  • Travel distance and time (130km / 5-6 hours)
  • We ride through the epic Khardung La Pass (17,982 feet) the highest motorable road.
  • The valley is known for the sand dunes with white rolling sands, and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels.
  • Diskit Monastery, the monastery has 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river.
  • You can go for an adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and Double humped camel ride.
  • Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hunder.

Day 7Hundar to Turtuk and back to Hundar

  • Today we will explore Turtuk village and back to Hundar.
  • Travel distance and time (180 km / 6-7 hours)
  • Which is the northernmost village in India situated in the Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shayok river. It is the Balti region that was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control over this important area.
  • Turtuk is the last out-post of India at Thang after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins.
  • Turtuk is famous for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots.
  • Overnight stay at Hundar

Day 8Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route

  • We will ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China.
  • Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180km approx).
  • You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprise to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of mountains.
  • Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude salt water lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India.
  • Pangong lake altitude 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at Pangong.

Day 9Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla Pass

  • Travel distance and time (180km /6-7 hours)
  • Today we will head back to Leh, early in the morning you will be able to capture a beautiful sunrise time lapse at the Pangong Lake.
  • On the way you will cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m.
  • You will visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and Rancho’s school.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 10Departure to Home

After the breakfast we will leave for Leh Airport ,its time for your departure. We hope you depart with happy and vivid memories of this enchanting, mysterious landscape and we look forward to welcoming you again in Ladakh.

Refund Policy

Refund amount will be processed within 2 week on business days.

What is the best time to visit Leh Ladakh?

The best months to visit Leh Ladakh are the months from June to August. If one is interested in travelling to Ladakh even in cold weather, we provide Leh Ladakh SUV trips in the month of March-April-May as well – you can experience the different Leh  Ladakh and get to enjoy the snow as well. Since the months of June and July will be peak tourist season there’ll be a huge inflow of people, to avoid big crowds and to enjoy a calmer Ladakh you can visit in the month of March-April-May also.

How do you prevent altitude sickness when travelling?

Anyone travelling 12,000 ft above sea level will be having difficulty breathing especially on the passes – khardungla pass 17,582 ft. We recommend our travellers to take a complete rest the first day so that you can get acclimated to the weather. We also recommend keeping yourself hydrated. In case of an emergency, an oxygen cylinder will be provided by us and will be carried in the car for whole journey.

What is the connectivity in Ladakh?

Jio connections is available in most part of Ladakh, if you have postpaid sim you can enjoy jio connections. Besides jio, bsnl and airtel also works in Leh.

Are kids allowed on the trip?

Yes, kids above 5 years of age can travel long routes such as Leh Ladakh. It is recommended to carry warmer clothes so that it will be a comfortable journey the whole SUV trip.

What are the types of vehicles for SUV trips?

We provide comfortable rides for our travellers since the journey is usually long. The cars available in Ladakh SUV trip are – Innova, xylo, Scorpio. What is the average travel duration each day?

Since the region and valleys of Ladakh are scattered vastly, there are overnight stays in each place and that’s why the travel duration will be around 5-6 hours minimum and at most 7 hours daily.
